Anna Onush - English & French Teacher

Hello! My name is Anna Onush, and I’m the founder of Colibri School — an international online language school where learning foreign languages becomes an inspiring part of your daily life.

I have been teaching English for more than 18 years and helping students from all over the world speak confidently, travel freely, and grow professionally. My mission is to make every lesson not only educational but also deeply motivating — because language learning is not just about grammar, it’s about building your new reality.

I graduated in 2011 from Horlivka State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (Ukraine), where I received my degree in Philology and English Language Teaching. Since then, I’ve taught students of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and developed unique interactive methods for speaking practice, vocabulary expansion, and emotional confidence.

Today, I live and work in Istanbul, Turkey, leading a team of talented teachers and creating courses in English, French, Turkish, and Ukrainian for both children and adults.

My approach combines warmth, structure, and creativity — helping each student unlock their potential and enjoy every step of the learning process.

Oleksandra - French Teacher

My name is Oleksandra, and I am a French language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience.

I hold a Master’s degree in Romance and Germanic Philology (2013–2019, Odesa, Ukraine) and I am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in France in “Engineering and Design of Online Education” (2024–2026, Strasbourg, France).

Throughout my career, I have taught French both in Ukraine and in schools in France, helping students of different ages master not only the language, but also the culture, mindset, and elegance of communication à la française 🇫🇷.

My lessons are interactive, creative, and focused on real-life communication. I strongly believe that learning French should be an inspiring, practical, and enjoyable process — because when you love what you do, success comes naturally.

Yulia - Turkish Teacher

Hello everyone! My name is Yulia.
I am a Turkish language teacher with four years of experience.
Education:
* 2020 — Vernadsky Taurida National University, Bachelor's degree, major: Secondary Education
* 2022 — Vernadsky Taurida National University, Master's degree, major: Philology

In 2018, I also completed an internship at the "Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Yaz Okulu" summer school in Turkey.

To prepare for lessons, I develop supporting materials, such as flashcards on interactive platforms, which help students better absorb information.
My goal is to inspire and motivate students through carefully selected exercises

A proud graduate of Kherson State University, she has over 10 years of experience teaching in various language schools, as a private tutor, and even working as an interpreter.

Maria - German Teacher

Maria Ivanovna is a teacher of German and foreign literature. Higher education. Experience of teaching at school is 19 years. During this time she has proven herself as a good teacher. She has the highest qualification category, the title of Senior Teacher. Her students are annually prizewinners of the German language Olympiad. From the elementary grades she instills in them a love of learning a foreign language. Her lessons are interesting, diversified with different types of activities. In classes she constantly uses 4 types of MD. After all, they are closely related to each other. As a teacher, she is constantly working on herself. She participates in various webinars, workshops, trainings among German teachers in Ukraine and Germany. In close cooperation with the Goethe Institute of Kyiv. She is an expert of the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine. She has experience working with adults online. In online lessons, he uses various platforms for interesting, meaningful, and fruitful study of a foreign language. He teaches speaking from the first online lessons. At first, the student is timid, but later the fear disappears and without unnecessary worries, a foreign language is born on the student's lips by itself.

Svitlana is a highly qualified Ukrainian language teacher with a Master’s degree in Primary Education from H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. Her professional qualifications include Lecturer in Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education, Primary School Teacher, Teaching Assistant, and Extracurricular Education Organizer.

In addition to her university degree, Svitlana has developed and teaches officially approved preparatory courses for children starting school, helping young learners build a strong academic foundation and smoothly adapt to the educational process.

With a strong academic background and extensive teaching experience, she combines professionalism with a warm, student-centered approach. Her lessons are clear, engaging, and practical, enabling students not only to master the Ukrainian language but also to discover the culture and traditions it embodies.
